The Membership Ministry: An Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT: It is the purpose of the membership ministry to honor Jesus by connecting people to the Family of Friends.

METHODS FOR MINISTRY: The goal of connecting people to the Family of Friends is realized as each person begins a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, attends and completes Grace 101, follows Jesus in believer’s baptism, and uses their gifts and abilities to serve the family of God.

Grace 101: Grace 101 is offered each month to those interested in finding out more about Grace Church. This informal class offers a chance to meet our staff and to be informed regarding our various ministries and beliefs.

Altar Workers: The purpose of the Altar Worker is to use God’s Word during the invitation for the purpose of leading people to Christ, for offering Biblical helps, and for giving prayer support.

Greeters: The purpose of the Grace greeters is to give people a warm and friendly welcome to the Family of Friends and guest at Grace Church. Our goal is to be a link connecting people to the family of God.

Class of One: The purpose of the Class of One is to begin the process of building a solid Biblical foundation in the life of a new believer through discipleship.

Name Tag Ministry: The nametag ministry provides a way for people to connect and also assists the Family of Friends ministry in keeping attendance.
