Communications Director

Purpose Statement: It is the purpose of Media at Grace Church to communicate the simple message of God’s Word to the Grace Church family, to Central Iowa and to the world.

Methods of Ministry:

Print--The primary communications tool with our church family is the weekly Worship Folder, a multi-page publication that provides complete information on what’s happening at Grace.

The Internet--The church’s Internet Ministry is the primary communications tool with the world. Visitors from across the street and around the world visit Grace’s web site and participate in worship services and our Bible-based teaching ministry.

Recording Ministry--Each week Grace records its morning worship services and provides copies on Audio CD and Cassette Tape. In addition, the church mails a weekly tape or CD to shut-ins around Central Iowa.

Video--Grace uses video to support both the promotion of various events and to add a visual component to our worship services. Our video services also provide recordings of special services and musicals.

Network Administration--Grace Church relies on our computer network as the administrative backbone for our ministries. We currently employ Microsoft server products for our office network and a Linux-based server for our Internet Ministry. The church has over 25 desktops and laptops connected to its network.

This series not only addresses the American problem of chronic, compulsive consumerism, but digs deeper into some of the root spiritual problems that cause Christians to place their hope in money and not in the Christ.  Read More
