BIBLE STUDIES

Tuesdays @ 9AM (SEPT. 10 – DEC. 17, 2019)

Precepts: Acts
De Murphy | ED102
Learn how God spread the gospel through witnesses of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and from their examples, how you too can witness to others. Stand in awe of the power of God in believers to endure persecution and suffering for the cause of Christ and embrace His power in your life. Be encouraged by the results of faithful servants holding forth truth in a dark world; watch as the church grows numerically, geographically, and culturally. Book: $18.

It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way (Lisa Terkeurst)
Nancy Walters | WC120
What do you do when God’s timing seems questionable, His lack of intervention hurtful, and His promises doubtful? Whether we’re dealing with daily disappointments or life altering loss, we can find unexpected strength as we learn what it means to wrestle well between our faith and our feelings. Book: $20.

A Woman’s Heart—God’s Dwelling Place (Beth Moore)
Angela Moulton | ED106
Do you wonder how the Old Testament events and the character of God connect to the New Testament?  Do you wonder why God demanded animal sacrifices in the Old Testament but doesn’t anymore? This study starts at the very beginning of creation and is an in-depth look at who God is and why He created us.  We will walk through the pages of scripture in the Old Testament and see how the building of the Tabernacle and all its formalities related to the foreshadowing of Christ and how it relates to us today. This study will GROW your understanding of God and the necessity of Jesus’ sacrifice.  Most importantly, it will GROW your love for God as you encounter His love for you through His own words to us in the Bible! Book: $16.

Wednesdays @ 7PM (SEPT. 4 – dec. 18, 2019)

God of Creation (Jen Wilkin)
Leah Fry | WC114 | 7:00 PM
Let’s start at the beginning. Genesis, the first book God gave to us, reveals much about HIS character and attributes. And it is through HIS WORD we begin to understand ourselves. Let’s dig deeper into GOD’S WORD and find a Creator who delights in HIS creation, desiring light in the darkness, redemption over shame, and clarity over confusion. Book: $14.
