Global Outreach

We exist to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world.

The Grace Church Family seeks to obediently and passionately take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world through a variety of local and foreign outreach opportunities. Our mission is fueled by our love for God (The Great Commandment, Matthew 22:37-38) and our love for people (The Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20).

Our ultimate goal is to make disciples of people in our own city while partnering with others who are called to take the gospel throughout the world.  Grace Church regularly offers opportunities for its members to participate in short term mission trips, outreach evangelistic projects and events and long term vocational missions.

Our Global Outreach Partners include individuals and families who have been called of God to evangelize the lost and plant churches at home and abroad.

Harvest Teams

What is a Harvest Team?

A harvest team is a group of people comprised of members, attenders or friends of Grace Church that meet monthly with the purpose of praying for and encouraging our missionaries.

We cannot all go but we all can pray!  Would you pray about joining a Harvest Team and investing in the lives of men and women around the world? If you would like to be a part of a Harvest Team, please click the link below and pick which team you would like to be a part of or reach out to the harvest team leader for that team.

CONGREGATIONAL TRAINING

Grace Church Global Outreach Ministry seeks to nurture and strategically train individuals from the congregation by leading them through a three-step process—Knowing, Growing, Going. This process is designed to ground the church and equip leaders in the basic principles of missions, evangelism, and discipleship. The ultimate goal of this process is to send out fully trained disciples-missionaries into the world where they can multiply themselves through evangelism and disciple making, i.e. disciples who will make disciples. (II Timothy 2:2, Colossians 1:28) Courses and training classes are offered periodically throughout the year during Grace's regular Adult Training Times.

SENDING PROCESS

One of the Biblical functions of our church is the mobilization, preparation and sending of our own members into a field of missionary service. Helping our members discover their purpose in His overall mission and their specific role in God’s plan is part of Grace Church Global Outreach Ministry. Acts13:1-3 indicates that the church in Antioch confirmed the leading of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Barnabas and Saul, then commissioned them to the work they had been called to do.  We desire to pursue this same proactive approach to mobilizing our members into missions through the assistance of a mission agency, in cooperation and communication with Grace Church, the sending church.

The process of sending missionaries out from Grace Church will involve seven steps that are designed to strategically involve our church in the sending process, to better prepare the prospective missionary for service, and to forge stronger relationships between the church, the missionary, and the mission agency.
