Community Groups

The Bible teaches that God created humans as relational beings. We are designed to need connection with others. This is certainly true in the Church, where followers of Jesus are called to love, serve, teach, and support one another, as an evidence to the world of who they are (John 13:35).

Churches need a structure to ensure believers have the opportunity to relate to one another in all the ways the Bible calls them to. Our structure for this is Community Groups.  These groups meet at various times and consist of various sizes, but each one is devoted to creating Biblical community.

About Community Groups

  • Community Groups consist of a small number of people who gather together on a weekly basis to pray, study Scripture, and be for one another everything the Bible says believers should be for one another.

  • Community Groups provide the relational context for you to serve and be served, to love and be loved, to speak and be spoken to. You cannot fully experience Grace Church apart from involvement in a Community Group.

  • The purpose of Community Groups can be accomplished through different formats, but you can generally expect prayer, time in God’s Word, and fellowship.

  • There are two ways to join a Community Group:

    1. Check out groups by clicking here and request to join a group. The leader will reach out to you.

    2. Reach out to Pastor Josh and request assistance finding the best group for you.

  • If you are you in helping others find connection and support at Grace Church, please contact Pastor Josh.
